Selain itu, turut disebut nama-nama seperti John Esposito, Pengarah CMCU (Center for Muslim and Christian Understanding), Universiti Georgetown; Ross Johnson dari Radio Liberty yang ! ditaja oleh CIA, Steven Cook, dari CFR (Council on Foreign Relations) dan Radwan Masmoudi dari CSID (Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy).

Memetik pandangan John Esposito dalam bukunya, "Islam: The Straight Path" Islam radikal adalah seperti berikut;

Untuk menterjemahkan matlamat itu, Jabatan Negara dan USAID telah mengikat kontrak dengan badan-badan bukan kerajaan (NGO), khususnya NED (the National Endowment for Democracy), IRI (the International Republican Institute), NDI (the National Democratic Institute), Asia Foundation, dan CSID (the Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy).

Selain menaja RAND Corp, SRF turut menaja 266 badan stategik antaranya, CSIS (Center for Strategic and International Studies), AEI (American Enterprise Institute), SAIS (Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies, di Universiti John Hopkins), Brookings Institute, Hudson Institute, Freedom House, dan CFR (Council on Foreign Relations)

Rules on students seeking funds

Only secondary school students above 16 who have the consent of their parents are allowed to solicit for public donations, said Deputy Education Minster Dr Mohd Puad Zarkarshi.

The ministry, he said, would not allow those below 16 to solicit for funds outside the school as it involved the safety of students.

He said this was among the conditions stipulated in three Education Ministry circulars which schools had to abide by or be penalised.

Huge demand for palm oil-based meds

Palm oil-based medicinial products worth RM600mil were exported last year, said Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.

This figure, he added, was expected to increase by another 8% this year following the upgrading in the production process at factories.

Felda settlers, said Liow, would also benefit from the Government's plan to build more factories to make pharmaceutical products from palm oil.

"Not many of us know that apart from being used in making cooking oil, margarine and other food products, palm oil is used in the manufacture of items such as painkillers, Vitamin C and anti-oxidants.

"Our palm oil-based medicinal products are of high quality and this has caused demand to increase," said Liow.

Earlier, both he and Pahang Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob presented a "windfall" and Hari Raya goodies to settlers in Masjid Ubudiyiah, Felda Chemomoi, here.

Motorists to enjoy discounts on 24 highways for Raya and Merdeka

Motorists will enjoy toll discounts and rebates of between 10% and 37.5% on 24 highways nationwide in conjunction with Hari Raya and National Day.

Works Minister Datuk Seri Shaziman Abu Mansor said the incentives this year were special in view of Hari Raya being celebrated in the Merdeka month.

"The Damansara-Puchong Highway will offer a 60sen flat rate toll fee for all motorists. This is a 37.5% discount from the usual RM1.60 for private cars (Class 1 vehicles)," he said.

Shaziman said the discount would be given from Aug 18 to 21.

During the same period, Class 1 motorists using the KL-Karak Highway will get a 30% discount on toll fees paid via electronic toll collection (ETC).

Class 1 motorists using highways under PLUS will be offered a 30% rebate on payment made using ETC on Aug 15, 16, 22 and 23. Motorists can claim the rebates at Touch n Go counters next month.

A similar rebate will be offered by PLUS highways on Aug 31.

"All motorists will be able to use the LDP and Maju Expressway for free on that day as well," Shaziman said, adding that toll charges at the Sprint Highway will be at a flat rate of 20sen for all users.

In view of the expected high traffic, he said the ministry had told all 27 highway concessionaires and maintenance companies to stop road works a week before and after Hari Raya.

"Only emergency maintenance works are allowed to be carried out during this time," he said after inspecting a proposed exit road to Kundang town from the Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway (Latar), near here, yesterday.

Shaziman said the Government had allocated RM30mil to build the new exit to allow easy access for 80,000 residents to Kundang town.

In TEMERLOH, East Coast Expressway concessionaire Anih Bhd said it was prepared for the 1.3 million vehicles expected to pass through the highway.

"We are going to add more manpower and engage Rela to help us control traffic at toll booths and rest and service areas," its director Nik Fauzi Nik Hussain said.

On stray animals crossing the highway, Nik Fauzi said the company was continuously educating the community not to cut the fences.

BUKTI KERAJAAN SELANGOR ZALIM! 15 BULAN PEKERJA TIDAK DIBAYAR GAJI!

Sedih aku tengok pekerja-pekerja Unisel dibawah JNSB ni. Dah 15 bulan gaji mereka tak dibayar. 15 bulan beb.

Ahli PAS Masuk Neraka Jika Hudud Gagal Dilaksana

August 11, 2012   ·   1 Comments

no hudud karpal 2

Kita merasa kasihan melihat kecelaruan PAS gara-gara terlalu gilakan kuasa.

Kenyataan Ketua Dewan Ulama Pas Kelantan, Datuk Mohamad Daud mengenai hukum haram bekerjasama dengan DAP membuktikan 'kegilaan' PAS demi mengejar kuasa politik.

HOT : HAIRIE OTHMAN AKHIRNYA MENYESAL MENYERTAI PAS??

Approval first, then donations

Fully-aided government schools must obtain approval from their respective state education departments to carry out fund-raising activities, said Deputy Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

He said the Education Ministry welcomed such initiatives from the schools or from its parent-teacher association (PTA).

"It is normal for a school or its PTA that wants to have better sports facilities or conduct academic improvement programmes to ask its students to collect donations.

"However, the requests need to be looked into by the department for a decision to be made accordingly," he told a press conference here yesterday.

On another matter, Dr Wee said Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin would decide at year-end if students would be allowed to bring their handphones or IT gadgets to school next year.

"The ministry is still collecting feedback from various stakeholders, including students, parents and the schools, on the announcement," he said.

Royalti Minyak: Pembangkang Mengundur Ke Belakang

SC should throw the book at TMI

If it had been the newspaper, the book would have been thrown at them. But will SC under the new Chairman, Datuk Ranjit Ajit Singh do it against The Malaysian Insiders (TMI)?

First, read about TMI's amateurish cheap trick in Big Cat here.

This blog have long held the view that Sime Darby and share vendors, which is the original major shareholders and current management of E&O, should be required to do a Mandatory General Offer (MGO).

GLC or no GLC, Sime Darby and the share vendors are both interested parties and working-in-concert (by virtue of vendor being the current management) and their combined shares are more than the trigger point of 33% plus one shares.

However, TMI should be taught a lesson as to not try a Rafizi crap. Their false reporting tantamount to market manipulation.

If TMI's report had been true, Kalimullah and the gang stands a chance of making good money. That doesn't matter.

Not only because it proves this blog is right, the MGO should be imposed on Sime Darby and their working in concert partners on a matter of principle. The letter and spirit of the law and rule rule should be adhered to.

There shall be no buts on fairplay and sticking to the rule of the game.

TMI's Jahabar Sadik
However, TMI report yesterday to claim Sime Darby was ordered to do a MGO is an equally wrong act.

Just cause TMI is trying to highlight a past wrong under former SC Chairperson, Tan Sri Zarinah Anwar, it does not mean they can chimply make any false news.

Let's not try get into another Rafizi's Whistleblower Act versus BAFIA rhetorics. Both law exist and should be adhered to. What more when it is quite specific and not inconsistent with each other.

Such news have implication on shares movement. Usually price rise on such rumours.

Someone in or close to MI could have benefited should there be a shares rise from this report. Again, no need to guess who because Kalimullah and the gang have interest.

Market manipulation, including creating rumours and false news, is wrong under various acts and rules governing the Securities Industry.

Despite the fact that newspaper are authorised to report on securities and at times, report to advise in buying or selling of shares, it does not provide the leeway for them to create false news. What more when the securities law is not likely to acknowledge non-mainstream newspaper or online media as acceptable to advise on buying or selling of shares.

Remember this comedianne?
The market practise that is in line with the law is to report news that have implication on share prices after official statements are made. Thus there is no such thing as making report based on sources this or sources that instructed this or that.

What more for false report that have share price implication.

All one need is to recall back that the Sime Darby-E&O deal was the deal that placed former Tan Sri Zarinah Anwar in hot soup that eventually led to her resignation.

The public uproar on this deal was because her husband, Dato Azizan was the E&O Chairman and the SC's decision to not allow MGO was in conssitent with the basic Mergers and Takeover rules. For a long while, Zarinah was accused of favouring the husband on securities deal, primarily fast track delisting exercises.

Dato Ranjit Ajit Singh
It would have been great on the part of the new SC Chairman, Datuk Ranjit Ajit Singh to put right to past wrongs. It also proves what many were saying that Datuk Ranjit is a no hanly panky man.

However, it does not justify for TMI to do so such cheap reporting stunt.

Everyone knows that Kalimullah and gang is an interested party that stand to benefit from a MGO and TMI is associated to him that no amount of denial from him will ever get the media community to believe.

Thus there is no reas! on why SC! should not investigate and eventually throw the book at TMI. Warnings is insufficient for this repeat offender at manipulating the truth for self agenda.

Unless off course, SC falls under the charge of Dato Seri Utama Dr Rais Yatim and charging TMI will lead to negative political paranoia on the Minister like releasing the movie Tanda Putera.

The only different is unlike securities matter, one do not leave it to the public to judge. It would be like some conniving fella awarding a "contract" in a company that have one's son as an interested party.

No glitter in ‘imported’ medals

When China-born Feng Tianwei won Singapore's first individual bronze medal in table tennis at the Olympics, the republic's first medal since 1960, instead of nationwide celebrations, her victory sparked strong criticism of the government's programme of importing sports talents from abroad.

A TUSSLE of will appears to have broken out between the government and many of its people over the issue of attracting foreign talent to win sports medals.

Actually, sports are only a part of an overall policy that is becoming increasingly controversial of using its wealth to short-circuit national achievements.

In the London 2012 Olympics, China-born Feng Tianwei, who became a citizen in 2007, won Singapore's first individual bronze medal since 1960.

Instead of nationwide celebrations, her victory sparked off strong criticism of the government's programme of importing sports talents from abroad to win glory for Singapore.

Subsequently, the three women's paddlers, all imports from China, won the team bronze.

The results unleashed a level of emotions that surprised me.

Actually, the feelings were already evident five years ago when Feng, given citizenship, began to make a name for herself – and Singapore.

But the intensity at the time had been nothing as widespread as currently.

In an online poll, some 77% of Singaporeans said they did not feel proud of her achievement – comparable to another that showed 78% of people were opposed to foreigners.

So far, the government seems unimpressed with this statistics.

As the public opposition grew, the pro-government media argued strongly for the players, and acting Cabinet Minister (for Social and Family Development) Chan Chun Sing congratulated the table tennis team for "uniting the nation".

Some observers believe the public feelings reflected the country's mood against foreign workers in general, blaming them for taking away jobs and opportunities.

To me, it's too big a number for the People's Action Party (PAP) government to ignore given its weakening popularity.

I am pretty sure that in the post Lee Kuan Yew era, the Singapore government will abandon any more plans to mass import foreign sportsmen and women.

In fact, it is possible that the authorities had stopped any major intake of paddlers from China in the last few years despite the fact that the current crop of players is growing older.

For years, the programme had started in the schools. The government had been scouring parts of China to source for provincial youth champions – or the second of third best.

They were enlisted into our schools, given scholarships and liberal allowances that allowed them to train.

Table tennis was not the only sport. At the peak, badminton, athletics, football, basketball, swimming, etc were all targets.

In fact, the talent-scouting programme has extended way beyond sports. Over the years, the republic has been bringing in thousands of skilled foreigners.

They ranged from musicians for the Singapore Philharmonic Orches-tra to biotech research scientists and from university professors to entrepreneurs.

The public's main complaint is that they also included hundreds of thousands of people who were less than talented – for reasons of cheaper costs.

Singapore is not alone in "buying" sports medals. Top women table tennis and badminton players from China and Indonesia have been representing their adopted countries in Europe.

Most other countries take a longer route to develop their own talent, but Singapore – which celebrated its 47th birthday – has joined those who seem to be in a hurry to win glory.

It wants to bring them in, trained and proven. Singapore itself has a migrant history which has long depended on outsiders to keep its talent flowing.

I remember when I was actively reporting, a very senior figure told several editors that there was benefit in bringing in trained doctors, research scientists and university professors, people with PhDS.

"After others had trained them, we attract them to come and work here," he clarified. The savings of six to eight years high education must be very high.

Imagine bringing in 20 to 30 sports champions in various sports capable of winning world medals!

But the policy of buying talent is increasingly encountering opposition at home.

Critics have pointed out that such a policy would earn Singapore world contempt and derision and discourage locals from developing to become champions.

Some Singaporeans said they felt closer to and prouder of Malaysia's Lee Chong Wei although he narrowly lost the badminton gold to a Chinese player than they were of Singapore's China imports.

Alvin Soh said: "Malaysians have every reason to be proud. Lee Chong Wei is a great local hero.

"The majority of Singaporeans are not happy with the idea of buying China citizens to play for us," Soh said.

To T.W. Tan, importing foreign sportsmen would only discourage their own athletes as they would be denied the chance to take part in any real competitions.

For winning the bronze, Feng will be paid S$ 250,000 (RM625,000) by the state of which she will have to contribute 20% – or S$ 50,000 (RM125,000) – to the table tennis association.

There is criticism, but there are also strong messages of congratulations and praises for Singapore's bronze winners.

"It is not fair to attack them. It is not their fault. They have worked hard for their achievements," said one surfer.

Friends even in competition

Despite their fierce rivalry on the badminton court, Olympic gold medallist Lin Dan and runner-up Datuk Lee Chong Wei are friends outside of it.

BEFORE the London Olympics, worldwide media regarded the men's singles final showdown between Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei as one of the most anticipated duels of the Games.

The duel was greatly awaited, too, in China. The record 60 million television viewers who watched the final last Sunday proved just that.

The viewers were not disappointed as both badminton stars dished out one of the best games in Olympic history. The game had it all – packed with skills, wit, intensity and drama, not to mention the exquisite quality shots produced by the players.

With the game going either way towards the end, only luck and a heart of steel separated the players. Lin Dan won the great contest by two points in the 79-minute 15-21, 21-10, 21-19 thriller.

Instead of hailing their hero and two-time Olympic champion, most Chinese fans praised both shuttlers for producing some of the best badminton of the modern era.

Their hearts went out to Lee, who was so close to winning the battle and an elusive gold medal for Malaysia. They saluted the Malaysian for fighting to recover from an ankle injury weeks before the Olympics.

They yearn for more of the Lin Dan-Lee Chong Wei rivalry while hoping that the players will maintain a cordial friendship off the court.

From the beginning of his quest to defend the title he won at the Beijing Games, Lin Dan emphasised the smooth execution of his game plan instead of worrying about the outcome of his matches.

Unlike the Olympics four years ago when his ultimate goal was to win the gold, this time the 28-year-old Chinese shuttler has learned to enjoy badminton and show his worth in the game.

"In the past four years, I no longer view my results and achievements so seriously. One thing remains unchanged is that I have maintained a high level of performance as a professional athlete.

"I work hard during training every day. As long as I am on the court, I must try to play to my best ability. Nowadays, my fans do not care too much about the final result and they just hope to see the real Lin Dan in my game," he said in an interview after his return from London on Thursday.

Lin Dan said if he were to lose in the London Games final, he would still be happy as the exciting match had helped promote the game a great deal.

In an earlier interview with China Central Television, he said he consoled Lee after the match.

"While waiting for the medal presentation, he was very sad. He sat on a chair and many coaches offered him words of consolation. I gave him a hug as I knew that he was still sad because he had to settle for a silver medal.

"I wanted to tell him that it was a great match. I believe that no matter who won it, the fans from the losing country would not have any complaints because we had displayed our best abilities," Lin Dan said.

Now that the Olympics is over for them, Lin Dan and Lee will take a much deserved break and catch up with each other. Both players have been good friends since they met in the Asian junior championship in 2000.

"I am lucky to have the company of great players like Lee, Peter Gade-Christensen and Taufik Hidayat throughout my badminton career.

"Lee and I will meet when he comes to China for a tournament this month. I hope that he can come here more often, be my guest and we can become very good friends," Lin Dan was quoted by QQ.com news portal as saying.

Lee responded that he would be more than happy to meet his Chinese rival again.

Lee had said he would stay around until 2014 and try to win the world championship title in Guangzhou next year. He would also bid to defend his title in the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

As for Lin Dan, he will first hold a wedding reception with his wife Xie Xingfang, a former world women's singles champion and Beijing Games silver medallist, next month.

Then, he will think of his future.

"If I want to continue playing badminton, I will have to set new goals and look for a driving force. If I am able to find the right direction, I will continue to be the Lin Dan whom everyone is familiar with, train as hard as before and treat each game seriously," he said.

Lin Dan is the first player in the modern era to complete a Grand Slam, including the Olympic and Asian Games gold, Thomas Cup and Sudirman Cup winner's medals, and world championship and All-England championship titles.

Developing RRI land

AS a person who was born and spent his childhood years in the Rubber Research Institute of Malaysia (RRI), Sungei Buloh, it is with some nostalgia that I read about plans to develop the area.

That piece of land now straddling a bustling area near Kota Damansara, Subang Airport and the rapidly developing area of Subang, houses the RRI's research facilities and rubber estates.

For those who lived there a long time ago, it was a tranquil and idyllic area with swimming and paddling in the streams, sports of all sorts in the evenings, hunting, biking and excursions into the jungle nearby. Tigers were said to have been sighted and someone even shot a leopard once.

But the area around it is virtually unrecognisable now and the RRI land stands like an oasis in a desert of poorly planned development. But it will fall to development too as the land has been sold, reported for RM2bil to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF). RRI will get to retain 216ha for its research facilities.

EPF's wholly-owned unit Kwasa Land now owns the RRI land in Sungei Buloh.EPF's wholly-owned unit Kwasa Land now owns the RRI land in Sungei Buloh.

EPF's wholly-owned subsidiary Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd will undertake a master plan of the entire area, the area for development will be split up into smaller parcels and the private sector will be invited to tender for their development.

There are plans to have an MRT station too in the area and the whole development is expected to take 10 to 15 years.

No doubt, EPF was chosen by the Government to get the RRI land because it is a provident fund whose members comprise most of the workers in the country and it would therefore be seen as a more neutral and independent party to develop the land.

It is necessary that it gets expertise to both produce the master plan as well as to see how it can maximise the value of the land for itself.

Land scarcity in the Kuala Lumpur/Klang Valley area means the people will be closely watching the former RRI land, possibly among the largest available so close to KL city, to see who gets what.

In fact the jostling seems to have already started. It was reported that listed Dijaya Corp was in talks with top officials of EPF on developing some parcels there. This was promptly denied by Kwasa Land.

Dijaya has declined comment but continued to express its interest in developing some parcels of the land, dangling as a carrot an access road which can be built on its own land that it says will link the RRI land to Petaling Jaya.

In future, more are likely to stake their claims and make their cases for why they should be chosen over others.

EPF and Kwasa should come up with a master plan. This is not something that can be done in a month or two and even if it is finalised there should be provisions to accommodate changes in future demand.

That requires technical expertise. What can be done is to have an international tender process to invite property players to come up with the best master plan and choose one. It will mean input from some of the best brains in the world in the area would have been tapped.

Next would be to get the best local construction companies involved – not necessarily developers. They can then build the projects according to the exact specifications set by EPF and EPF will have complete control of the development at all times.

Completion schedules need not be left to the mercy of developers who might finish their projects at different times. Importantly, it also means that EPF would be able to maximise the returns from the development of the land instead of sharing it with other developers.

If whole parcels of land are sold to other developers, then it is highly likely that the entire project will not be properly integrated and there will be a mishmash of different looking structures with no continuity or theme through out the entire development.

On the flip side, that would mean that EPF would have to take on plenty of close management, tough but not impossible with the right staff and the right consultants.

But above all what is needed is honesty, competence, integrity and transparency in all the efforts to do something good with this massive piece of land. That means instituting the right processes from the start – open tenders, picking the best to do the job, etc.

EPF through Kwasa must maximise the use of this land – it must come up with an overall master plan which combines all elements of a good development, execute well to give a project that satisfies customers while at the same time bringing it good returns.

> P Gunasegaram (t.p.guna@gmail.com) plans to visit the RRI land again before it is forever changed.

Malaysians ecstatic over Pandelela’s historic Olympic win

Sharing the happiness: Pandelela showing her medal to teammates (from left) Leong Mun Yee, Ng Yan Yee, Yeoh Ken Nee and Traisy Vivien after meeting with the Malaysian press at the Athletes Village in London

Pandelela Rinong Pamg who wrested a bronze medal at the London 2012 Olympics in a most unexpected way has set Malaysians riding on a huge wave of national sporting pride.

Malaysians from all walks of life took to Twitter to express their emotions and congratulate the petite Bidayuh lass from Sarawak for making history as Malaysia's first woman Olympic medallist and the first to win one outside of badminton.

The 19-year-old finished third behind China's Chen Ruolin and Australia's Brittany Broben in the 10m individual platform event.

She pipped Melissa Wu of Australia by a mere 1.1 point to take the bronze.

Cycling champion Josiah Ng, whose tweet was retweeted over 400 times by his followers, wrote: "Congratulations to my fellow Sarawakian, Pandelela Rinong for Malaysia's first female medal. #bronze #diving #teammalaysia."

Women's squash world number one Nicol David tweeted:"Well done to our Malaysian diver Pandelela Rinong Pamg for picking up a Bronze! Amazing achievement!"

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's congratulatory tweet at 6.30pm yesterday was retweeted over 1,000 times by his followers.

"Great performance by Pandelela! First Malaysian Woman to win an Olympic Medal. Syabas dan Tahniah!"

Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin also tweeted, saying: "Tahniah dan syabas Pandelela kerana meraih pingat gangsa utk negara! (Congratulations, Pandelela for winning a bronze medal for the country) Well done! You did us proud!"

Another Malaysian woman, M. Vasugi, won a bronze medal in taekwondo in the Seoul Olympics in 1988 but the sport was only a demonstration event then and was not considered in the official medal tally.

Pandelela, who won the National Sportswoman Award this year, is also the country's first woman to serve as flag bearer, leading the 28-member contingent during the opening ceremony on July 27.

Former Bernama editor-in-chief Datuk Seri Azman Ujang said he and his family had spent a sleepless night watching Pandelela at the women's 10m individual platform event.

The Sarawakian said he and Datuk Dr Tiki Lafe, the MP of Mas Gading where Pandelela's home is, had been exchanging a running SMS commentary throughout the event. "She gave us some nervous moments but then she improved. This is such a fantastic achievement for the country and something completely unexpected."

Dr Tiki said Pandelela had made the entire Bidayuh community extremely proud.

Wanita MCA secretary-general Chew Lee Giok praised Pandelela's perseverance and determination as "an encouragement to Malaysian women and youths with dreams and aspirations".

Tale of one town in two states

The Malacca Government will seek a meeting with Bukit Aman in an attempt to resolve the jurisdiction issue for crime cases reported in Tampin, as part of the town spans two states.

State Education Youth and Sports committee chairman Datuk Gan Tian Loo said Tampin town is under the jurisdiction of both Malacca and the neighbouring state of Negri Sembilan.

He said the Negri Sembilan side of the town was governed by the Tampin District Council, while the Malacca side was administered by the Alor Gajah District Council.

However, Gan said in crime cases, confusion often occurs if it is reported right at the heart of the town, where police contingents are divided between Tampin police headquarters and Pulau Sebang police station.

"Many find their distress calls being diverted to either one of the contingents especially since the main commercial area is situated right on the border between the two states.

"This is where confusion arises causing a delay in the arrival of police officers attending emergency cases," he said in an interview.

Hence, he said the state government is hoping that Bukit Aman could clarify the situation.

Gan was earlier asked to comment on a police report lodged in Seremban police headquarters by a 41-year-old businessman alleging that he was given the run around when he attempted to call the emergency line.

The businessman Suresh Rao from Taman Seremban in Seremban claimed he witnessed a 16-year-old girl being violently assaulted by a man. He said the 999 call was diverted to Pulau Sebang police station where he was told to call Tampin police headquarters.

However, the Tampin police officer said the onus was on Pulau Sebang to handle the case.

Suresh said even after a few calls, police failed to arrive.

"I was forced to flag down some passers-by who helped to rescue the girl.

"Later, I decided to lodge a police report so that the authorities would look into the issue of overlapping jurisdiction," he added

SASTERAWAN SEWEL TANYA "APA SALAHNYA KAMI HIMPUN 30 OGOS??"..

"Apa salahnya?" Itu reaksi Pengerusi Bersama Bersih 2.0, Datuk A. Samad Said ketika diminta mengulas kritikan beberapa pihak berhubung penganjuran Himpunan Janji Bersih 2.0 pada 30 Ogos menjelang sambutan Hari Kemerdekaan.
Ia bukan hak kerajaan, ia hak rakyat. Jadi sesiapa pun boleh," kata beliau.
