Advertorial: Najib cleanses UMNO

Here is a fine example why Najib is your man? And this is only the beginning ...

Every operational thing will need some kind of maintenance after a while. UMNO is no difference. In fact, it needed an major overhaul. So major, you can practically replace the whole damn UMNO if you serious about performance.

And so, expect at least a serious internal cleansing soon ... Some of scums, dirts, pimples etc will just have to go. This is the bare minimal - Cosmetic only. In another word, it's inevitable and it will take place.

They are lucky Najib didn't want to do the job ... If I go in, nothing will leave behind, not even skeleton because my style is ... all out!

By the way, do you like sotong? Then here is a yummilicious expert prediction : -

Expert Prediction: Mamak Brand Sotong Goreng Belancan will be available near a Mamak Store near you.

Who's fighting corruption?

Yesterday I posted He's a bastard, but he's our bastard!, with my title borrowed from Harry Trumans infamous description of Nicaraguan dictator Anastasio Somoza.

Truman was basically acknowledging Somoza was an unmitigated bastard of a dictator but nonetheless required defending/protecting because he was Americas stooge.

We Malaysians (I dare say on both sides of the political fence) know that many officers of our public institutions (Police, MACC, EC, civil servants, and even the judiciary) work NOT as neutral unbiased public servants but as if they are paid staff of the current ruling federal government, effectively UMNO*.

* the rest of BN are insignificant - just look at that pathetic Murugiah desperately looking for a BN component party to join after he was expelled from equally pathetic PPP

We have witnessed and experienced clear indications and cases of these unprofessional and unethical relationships eg. the tarnished and very biased Perak police and civil servants, police harassment of peaceful and harmless candlelight vigils while UMNO-BN rallies such as the cow head agitation and Perkasa bigoted activities were tolerated, MACC ignoring obvious cases of obscene and ostentatious show of unexplained wealth while harassing DAP politicians for cases involving a couple of thousand ringgits (and unfounded cases as such), harassment of non-BN party newspapers while UMNO mouthpieces have been getting away with gross sedition and reckless bigotry, top judicial decisions that went from white one day to black the next that 'miraculously' were in favour of UMNO, etc.

Worst of the lot, there has been no action on cases involving unexplained deaths in Police and MACC custody - yes, lives of Malaysians were lost while in the custody of these so-called guardians of society - nor will there be any explanation/accountability as I predicted, .....

..... for the reason ! these in stitutions are UMNO's 'Anastasio Somoza' which require defending/protecting - to do otherwise would be to cut away the party's own appendages.

Malaysiakini reported that MACC Commissioner Abu Kassim Mohamed appealed to the Malaysian public: Don't fight us, fight corruption where he stated All efforts in combating corruption would only be fruitful if there was continuous awareness and support from society.

Well, my dear Commissioner, we are in fact continuously aware of the need to combat corruption, the bane of our society. And we are equally aware that your MACC has done nothing substantial to combat REAL corruption (other than to pick on a few ikan bilis for show).

Tell me, my dear Commissioner, are you BLIND? Even blind Malaysians know of the corruption going on, not only in the public institutions, but among the politicians and their supporters. Perhaps you are deaf?

The only significant event that has been achieved by MACC thus far has been the unexplained death of Teoh Beng Hock who was in your custody, your care and thus your responsibility. And your organization came up with the ludicrous explanation that Teoh who was to have married the following day, who took the trouble on his wedding eve to ring up his best man to remind him of the wedding, committed suicide on that very wedding eve?

And you want us to work with you? Will we be safer than Teoh was?

Trust has to be earned, cooperation likewise. But how will we achieve these? You see, my dear Commissioner, we dont see you as an anti-corruption agency, but as an apparatus of the ruling clique to harass, intimidate and bugger non-BN parties and their supporters.

To put it simply, to work with you while your organization is still in its current state of allegiance would be to effectively work against ourselves.

To paraphrase Ralph Naders criticism of Microsoft: "If MACC's (and its predecessors) long re! cord of deception and untrustworthiness is to be ended, the public remedies must be as bold, sweeping, and effective as the organization's power."

As my previous post suggested, we cannot ever dream of the UMNO government doing so because the MACC is after all its 'Somoza'.

He's a bastard, but he's our bastard!

from KTemoc Konsiders

Extracts from The Malaysian Insider’s DAP vows to fight on for Teoh:

Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng ... questioned why the inquest into Teoh’s death had yet to turn up anything conclusive?

“Why after one year are we still searching and groping for answers”, he asked?

"There has to be closure for the family There should be accountability so that those responsible can be brought to justice?”

Last night I expressed my belief to a sweetie that there will be no justice for Teoh Beng Hock, for the reason the UMNO-led government is reluctant to bring to book the perpetrator(s) of the crime of Teoh’s death.

It doesn’t matter whether it was murder or manslaughter, but we may be sure that the authority will continue to push the original cause of suicide.

Teoh was the man who would have marry the day immediately after his so-called suicide. He even sent a message to his best man reminding his matey of the big day “tomorrow”, and MACC would want us to believe he committed suicide.

Then there was also a fallback cause just in case the ‘suicide’ reason was demolished (as it was!) – hey, maybe Teoh was ‘murdered’ by gangsters to silence him from ‘spilling the beans’. There was another suspicious bloke in the building, wasn’t there?

The 2nd one was far more preferable because it would have ALSO implicated the DAP.

But alas, the words on his supposed suicide were already out, so the fallback cause became so dodgy and in fact too close to the truth of Teoh being done in, mind you, NOT by alleged DAP gangsters but other 'gangsters'.

The cover up will continue regardless, for the reason it’s the Malaysian way.

Admitting Teoh’s death is attributable to some or even one MACC officer’s fault, negligence or action would not be acceptable as that would jeopardise the ruling government's unprofessional, unethical and incestuous relationships with the so-called public institutions (MACC, Police, etc).

It explains why the police would never be held accountable for the deaths of Udayappan, Kugan and other Indians in custody.

This lamentable kiasu attitude reminds me of a quote attributed to Harry Truman who said of Nicaraguan dictator Anastasio Somoza. "He's a bastard, but he's our bastard!"

I predict with certainty that Teoh’s death will be confirmed as suicide or, at best, to reasons unknown (an open verdict). I pray I may be proven wrong!

Are Anwar's other lawyers not good enough?

Nah ... they are no Thundercat, But Tunda Cat
Words are Karpal Singh is down with penumonia or some lung infection. He was hospitalised at the University Hospital for a few days. This was picked up in the blog The Unspinners last Friday.

Since delaying court proceeding is the mainstay of Anwar's legal strategy, obviously Anwar is considering to use this as an excuse for adjournament. As it is, with court already delayed from beginning on the scheduled July 12th to July 19th.

The Unspinners claimed that Dato Param Cumarasamy advised them to secure a Medical Cert for a week's leave.

If sucessful, the scheduled 14th to 23rd July trial would pass by without a single day of trial. It is already the 16th day of trial and yet only two of the Prosecutor's witness called in.

The court should reject this request for adjournment because Anwar is being defended by a team of distinguished and experianced lawyers, including several trial lawyers involved in the first case in 1998 and anyone lawyer can relieve Karpal.

The judge should stop allowing Anwar from making a mockery of the court process with constant delays.

It is a bit more than two years from Anwar's dreaded date of June 28th, 2008. That is the date Saiful made a police report claiming being sodomised by Anwar on June 16th.

Tomorrow would be day 16 since Anwar's trial began on February 3rd.

To begin trial on the slick and slimy weasel, it was a challenge by itself. Anwar would constantly come up with drama after drama, excuses after excuses, and court filings after court filings.

When trial was about to begin in mid 2009, Sulaiman Abdullah claimed sick until he quit in July to replaced by Karpal Singh. There were various filings and appeals including application to strike out the case, syariah court diversion using qazaf, request for evidence discl! osure, e tc.

As opposed to Sulaiman, Karpal Singh the politicians is more willing to play along Anwar's game for the Court of Public Opinion than Legal Court at Jalan Duta.

There is never a day in court, which Karpal Singh would not ask for delay or adjournament. Anwar is quite happy with any form of delays, even if it is only to end the day's session at noon.

His hope is see the case stretch till near the next General Election and spark a Reformasi II revival for him to wrestle power from Barisan Nasional and be pardoned free.

Sulaiman Abdullah, the former leading lawyer and part of the legal team for the 1998 case, had withdrawn as leading lawyer over a dispute in the way the case is supposed to be done.

It is strongly believed that he refused to be part of the mockery of endless delays. After willingly playing sick, he quit at just before trail is about to begin in July 2009. As far as the public is concern, they were told Sulaiman is sick.

Sulaiman's role as leading lawyer was replaced by Karpal Singh. The leading lawyer for 1998 team, Raja Addruse together with Datuk Param Cumaraswamy, dan Datuk CV Prabakharan joined the team.

Anyone of these three can step up to the plate at any courts in Malaysia. What exuse will they come up with tomorrow?

Karpal brought in son, Ram Karpal Singh Deo and Marissa Regina Fernando, daughter to late Christopher Fernando, a key trial lawyer for the 1998 team.

Sivarasa Rasiah was believed to have had difference in opinion with Karpal and quit. That puts Anwar's legal team number to 13.

The remaining others are Sankara Nair, personal lawyer of Anwar, acting as spokesman and part of the 1998 team, Mohd Radzlan Jalaludin, Edmund Bon, Amer Hamzah Arshad, Leela J. Jesuthasan, Wan Anuar Sadat, dan Saiful Izham Ramli.

PKR's Communication Chief, Latheefa Koya was the last to join to mak! e up int o a team of 14.

This does not include a separate team of syariah lawyers; namely Kamar Oiniah and Shabrimi Chik but still bigger than the 1998 team of 10.

That team was led by Raja Aziz Addruse. Team are Christopher Fernando, Gurbachan Singh, Pawancheek Merican, Sulaiman Abdullah, S.N. Nair, Zainur Zakaria, Kamar Aniah, Zulkifli Nordin, dan Faiz Abdullah.

Maybe this is too much and some of those mentioned lawyers have dropped out. With such numbers of lawyers available and capable to replace Karpal Singh, is it fair to the courts and victim for Anwar to ask for delay?

This delay tactic by Anwar is beginning to be obnoxiously sickening.

In one occasion, Anwar fabricated a request to visit again the scene of the crime at Apartment 11-5-1 Desa Damansara Kondominium for the afternoon session. It turn out, Anwar wanted to visit Apartment 11-5-2 and 11-5-3, two Apartment he claim to have had meetings.

Since the two Apartments are not part of the crime scene, it is not under court temporary possession and keys had to be secured from owner.

For that he managed to get a day and a half of delay since it requires his former friend and owner Hasanuddin's permission for entry. So happen, Hasanuddin is out of town.

From the onset Saiful made his police report, Anwar has resorted to conjuring up all sorts of dirty tricks and even malicious and seditous ones.

Immediately after knowledge of the police report, Anwar created an International scene by hiding in the Turkish Ambassador's home at the next day on June 29th. While still inside, he had his lawyers filed a defamation against Saiful on June 29th.

Anwar lodged report against Attorney-General Tan Sri Abdul Gani Patail and Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Musa Hassan on July 1st. MACC immediately investigated and found nothing.

That did not stop Anwar to make a fili! ng in co urt to stop both their involvement in the case. All along, his intention is to find a legal loophole to stop the whole Police Force and Public Prosecutors Office to investigate and prosecute him.

He created a conspiracy using unacceptable medical report of Pusrawi and spinned interpretation of General Hospotal report.

Anwar created an issue of Utusan Malaysia's reporting and filings upon filings caused delay.

He used his Parliament sitting as excuse and court fixed with dates as May 10 to 14, May 31 to June 4, July 14 to 23, and Aug 2 to 30. If Karpal's 7-day MC is accepted, the scheduled July 14 to 23 would pass by without a trial.

From early February to July, the court had gone through only 2 prosecutor's witness. There is another two doctors, two Chemists and Apartment security before the court decide if there is a prima facie case against Anwar.

If there is, Anwar will have to defend himself. Many believe he has no alibi to save him. The Apartment camera is there to dispute any claim.

Most difficult for Anwar is to dispute his bodily deposit at Saiful's anus. Other than fault finding on procedural issues, how will Anwar dismiss the Chemistry finding that the DNA found is his and is from a semen? Let's end this posting with a jual pantun:
Sarapan pagi jemput-jemput
Makan telor nanti terkentot
Oi Nuar peminat si lembut
Kenapa jumpa DNA di bontot?

Letter & Opinion From Joe Public

Mamak bullies Malay or Malay bulldozes Mamak?

The Mamak Gang thought Najib is a pussy.

He is no alone. Many fools out there also believe in the same thing. This include Mujahideen Pariah Muhyiddin and some Pakatan traitors who have just jumped ships.

True, Najib is pretty pussy is some ways but I think the buggers simply have no idea what they're stepping on ... They forgot what is Najib's portfolio like?

They forgot Najib is accused of such science fiction like "From Ulan Bator With Love" ... They assumed he is no better than Hussein Onn, they forgot how did young KJ win the UMNO Youth Chief title, they also forgot Hishammuddin is his cousin who is could be very pissed off they way his dad was asked to fuck off from the PM office. They forgot all that ... They like to believe that King Mamak is capable to bugging just about any and every Malay off the ring.

They know what happened to Tunku Abdul Rahman, they were what happened to Hussein Onn, and they are totally convinced history will repeat itself after being made to watch the infamous Pak Lah The Sleeping Beauty video again. This time they are placing the bet on Najib the Pussy Prez is ripe for dinner, after seeing how this pussy has surrendered to their demand via frivolous froggy show like Perkasa and their earth shattering 600-strong Bangkit Revolution!

Ladies and gentlemen, sit back, relax, and enjoy the show of the millenium: Mamak bullies Malay or Malay bulldozes Mamak?

But you know what? You may be disappointed because ... NO SHOW.

Why so? Because I believe the Mamak Gang has surrendered. They have "cease and desist' if you were to ask Kapal Singh what's happening?

Nothing is to be seen. That's my prediction.

In Malaysia, I am Paul The Sorcerer Sotong.

Ku Li kena fucked by Kay Jay

After seeing how Pariah was fucked by the civilized world including ... we FuckYeahMalaysia (emmm ... perasan), avid cheap publicity collector Ku Li of the Fox Cave is picking fight with UMNO Youth's Boss Kay Jay, but kena backfire sikit.

He kena fucked back instead ...

Ku Li’s views draw Khairy’s ire

July 17, 2010

KUALA LUMPUR, July 17 — Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin today rejected Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah’s views that Perkasa’s success was driven by the Youth wing’s disinterest in speaking up on Malay issues.

The Rembau MP also alleged that his refusal to support the parliamentary caucus on state-federal ties, which is led by Tengku Razaleigh, has resulted in the attacks.

“With due respect, Tengku Razaleigh is way off here. If that is the void that needs filling, I don’t want to fill it,” said Khairy (picture)through the microblogging site Twitter.

The Kelantan prince has charged that Perkasa’s rising popularity among the Malays was due to the failure of the Umno Youth leadership to champion the cause of the race.

The Gua Musang MP also said that Khairy’s ostensibly staunch support for party president Datuk Seri Najib Razak was just a ploy to get a Cabinet position.

The Kelantan prince, popularly known as Ku Li, claimed that Umno Youth had lost its tenacity and vigour in championing the community, with the leaders engrossed in eyeing positions for themselves.

“Because I choose not to be part of a coup Tengku Razaleigh is trying to orchestrate, my support for the PM is dismissed as superficial,” said Khairy, referring to the parliamentary caucus.

The parliamentary caucus was initiated by Pakatan Rakyat (PR) leaders in their fight for oil royalties for Kelantan.

Tengku Razaleigh, who has been critical of the federal government’s refusal to honour the payment, was asked to lead the caucus by PR because of his involvement in drawing up the Petroleum Development Act 1974.

Today, Khairy also alleged that Tengku Razaleigh’s perceived liberal stand on national issues was not sincere and was staged by his former aide.

“It appears that Tengku Razaleigh has shown his true colours since John Pang stopped writing his uber liberal speeches,” said Khairy, referring to the prince’s former aide who now heads CIMB’s Asean Research Institute.

“I guess without John Pang tweeting liberal thoughts on his behalf, Tengku Razaleigh is still stuck in a bigoted, analogue worldview,” he added.

Govt's bold move will have minimal impact on people, says PM

Guaranteed: Najib's Big Snake Will Hurt Nobody

KUALA LUMPUR: The Government's bold move to cut subsidies for sugar, petrol, diesel and liquefied petroleum gas will have minimal impact on individuals and families.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the Government will adopt an approach that will not burden the people when implementing the subsidy rationalising plan.

"The rationalisation move is necessary to reduce Government expenditure and strengthen the country's financial position.

"It will help reduce the fiscal deficit so that world and local markets will have more confidence in the national economy," he told reporters in Kedah.

A statement from his office said fuel prices were still considered the cheapest in the region even after the increase.

It also said the sugar subsidy cut would help to promote a healthier lifestyle.

The overall reduction in government expenditures will allow investment in the nation's future in education, community development and job creation.

Mujahideen Pariah Muhyiddin will be fried soon

The words are long out, the show has been screened, and now is the moment of truth ...

You may pre-order the crispy Popiah Mujahideen Pariah Muhyiddin now ... Because he will be fried and bungkused very soon!

Why lah like that ...?

This is the akibat of jumping into the wrong camp. His mistake? Joining the Mamak Inc. - The 0.000000000000000000000001% minority who tries to tell the rest of the population that "I am ordained by God to fuck you all!"

Is Mujahideen Pariah Muhyiddin the only fool? No, there are many. They are many out there who believe Najib is there strictly as a filler for the cracked wall. These include almost all the latest traitors who fucked Pakatan to become "independents".

Chief among them is of course, pookimak Ibrahim Ali whose family FuckYeahMalaysia just contacted to request for an interviewed. Unfortunately, they say "Sorry, no comment, we have disowned the bastard!" (Disclaimer: we could have contacted the wrong party, however, we're unable to verify this fact."

Setiu Umno sets off another signal for Najib-Muhyiddin tussle

UMNO FACT: This is how the akibat of joining the wrong camp.

A power challenge between the top two men in Umno - Prime Minister Najib Razak and his deputy Muhyiddin Yassin - is becoming visible, and at the division level, which is the heart of the party, battle lines are beginning to be drawn.

On Friday, an early signal was set off in Terengganu, where existing infighting between rival factions led by Mentri Besar Ahmad Said and his predecessor Idris Jusoh has worsened.

This is classic Umno smokescreen. They may attack Pakatan Rakyat, but the real disorder is in Umno itself. It is traditionally well-known for power grabbing and it is the warlords there who will actually broker who forms the national leadership, Kuala Terengganu MP Wahid Endut told Malaysia Chronicle.

Unprecedented disrespect

The Umno brouhaha began when four Terengganu assemblymen snubbed Muhyiddin during the opening of the Setiu division meeting. Their unprecedented boldness immediately sparked speculation the boycott had broader implications - perhaps, right up to the national level rather than just infighting amongst state leaders.

Of late, rumblings have grown louder that Muhyiddin was preparing to oust Najib. Terengganu is under the direct care of Najib's cousin Hishammuddin Hussein, who was tasked to resolve the Ahmad Said-Idrish Jusoh conflict.

When asked for his reaction, Hishammuddin slammed the four assemblyman for not rising above state politics and showing disrespect to the DPM. Yet just last month, the Umno vice president had insisted the internal bickering in Terengganu was under control.

"This is not our way of doing things. We should respect the person opening the meeting, more so when it is Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Bernama reported Hishammuddin as saying.

Muhyiddin himself has publicly voiced his unhappiness ove! r the in cident.

Aligned to whom

The recalcitrant assemblymen were were Jabi representative Ramlan Ali, Permaisuris Abdul Halim Jusoh, Langkaps Ashaari Idris and Batu Rakits Khazan Che Mat. All were previously believed to be aligned to Idris Jusoh, but Umno watchers say they may have switched over to the Ahmad Said camp.

Ashaari and Khazan were recently appointed to the state executive council by Ahmad Said. So the talk is that they are now with the MB and are trying to encourage Ramlan and Halim to do the same, a veteran Umno watcher told Malaysia Chronicle.

"Both Ahmad Said and Idris will insist they are Najib's men. But that is only if he remains in power. Of the two, perhaps Ahmad Said has the more reason to stay loyal to Najib."

Followers of Idris Jusoh, controversial for having launched a slew of quick but under-performing development programs during his time in power, are perceived to be unhappy with Najib and Hishammuddin for continuing to support Ahmad Said, who also has the backing of the Terengganu Sultan.

Ahmad Said, on the other hand, is believed to be grateful to the PM for standing by him despite the lack of progress made in Terengganu since he took over from Idris in 2008.

Can Umno change under Muhyiddin

Other Umno leaders who have rushed to slam the rudeness shown to Muhyiddin include supreme council member Ahmad Shabery Cheek. "Whatever excuse they may give, when the Deputy Prime Minister comes to officiate at the meeting, such action can be perceived as a boycott," Shabery said.

Muhyiddin has the backing of former premier Mahathir Mohamad. He has been keen to portray himself as a champion of the Malay community, although his racial rhetoric directly contradicts the multiracial undertones of Najibs 1Malaysia platform.

Apart from Hishammuddin, other senior Umno leaders who have publicly expressed support for Najib include Minister in the PMs Department Nazri Aziz and Umno Youth Chief Khairy Jamaluddin.

Kh! airy, in a verbal spat with Kelantan Umno's Tengku Razaleigh, had mentioned a coup going on in the party. But even so, Razaleigh is unlikely to support any side that has strong links to his arch enemy Mahathir, even though he had challenged and lost to Najib in the 2009 contest for the Umno presidency.

"Umno is going through tough times. The grassroots are putting the blame on the top leadership and this is correct because their leaders have not been able to reform the party or to take it forward. It is now weaker than before," the Umno watcher said.

"But if Muhyiddin beats Najib, will it make Umno better? For the first few months, Muhyiddin may be able to give the impression of a more united Umno under him. But actually, Umno will be setting itself up for complete extinction because Muhyiddin has even less vision than Najib. He is only riding on Malay sentiments and Mahathir, and by now it is quite obvious, Mahathir is the root cause to the big problems in Malaysia today."

Did SC and Nor Mohamad beat up Utusan Malaysia editors?

Finally ... the balless Securities Commission responded.

They responded and was given the front page by Utusan Malaysia yesterday. (See above). The snippet in the front page below:

The full report here.

Rocky Bru was right to point out that YB Wee Choo Keong had raised a lot of issues [read his postings here, here and here] and divulge lots of names and Companies but they only responded to Pantai-Parkway issue.

Rocky who described their response as selective asked where are the response with regard to "Mrs" Zarinah, Isyoda, and Tenco? Not be miss also is Big Dog's Wee vs SC.

There will be no comment from these blogger because Wee's reply is good enough. Read here.

However, this blogger spotted something strange and interesting.

The night before at NPC, blogger Eric Woon of I am a Malaysian told this blogger that Utusan had put up an online report entitled "Pecat Nor Yakcob, Zarinah."

I didn't quite believe it. When I returned NPC, I scoured through Utusan Online for that report to no avail.

Lucky I found the url on the blog Jelapang's posting here. But when double clicked, it leads to an empty page.

The url below:

http://www.utusan.com.my/utusan/info.asp?y=2010&dt=0716&pub=Utusan_Malaysia&sec=Parlimen&pg=pa_01.htm Try it. Maybe you have better luck.

What obviously happen here is Utusan Online was asked to remove that report. Despite Wee's long response, Mingguan Malaysia only reported to Zarinah's Mamak Mafia Godfather, Nor Mohamad Yakcop reply:

Nor Mohamed nafi dakwaan

Kesian Wee ... his response was only given two sentence at the end. It looks like he is being clobbered two days in a row by Utusan Malaysia. If much speculated PM Office's gatekeeper, Dato Shafie Abdullah kacau his constituency, then it is confirm Nor Yakcop's hand in it.

If you didn't hear from me putting up posting for more than two days, there is the likelihood he sent out some bulky Mamak gangster after me.

Me no worries there and happy the game is in play and now is at another level.

There are people out there, who is in the know of Nor Yakcop's exploit, will come out talking. Those who believe in the Malay provern, "Pokok tidak goyang kalau tia! da angin " will begin to ask question.

This blog will continue to write. And The real undisputable stuff is going to come out. This corporate mafia with a leg on the side of Anwar Ibrahim and legacy of Abdullah Badawi must be brought down. Or the nation will be losing hundreds of bilions from their corrupt and incompetence.

"Pegang bara sampai jadi abu."

There is something interesting observed also. Thus far the ones responding are SC's Head of Corporate Affair, Abdul Jalil Hamid and EPU Minister, Tan Sri Nor Mohamad Yakcop.

Why isn't Zarinah talking?

Takut? Bisu? Kalau bisu, berentilah.

Poll results image hosting by Photobucket

None of you who participated in the poll thought it was. Despite having re-tweeted and reminded people to vote, more than once, the results remained pretty much at the same ratio, and no one selected the Yes option. Not a single person.

Not surprising, since it was only a handful really thick-headed politico-pawns that were really screaming their heads off about the issue being highlighted as seditious and/or insulting to the institution of royalty.

The issue, in fact, died down quite quickly, indicating that the public realized quickly that the real deal was that Ezam and Perkasa were politicizing a labor and migrant worker issue. And it was an attempt that fizzled out faster than an open can of carbonated soda.
(the next accusation to be hurled at Anwar Ibrahim, and more, in the full post)

The other poll was admittedly one done for fun, and inspired by a recent news report of Anwar Ibrahim being accused of being a CIA pawn. Among those accusing him of being such, our Deputy Prime Minister, and Vice-President of UMNO, Muhyiddin Yasin. The source of this revelation: a blog post from Culture of Life News. The most ironic thing was that this accusatio! n was ec hoed by none other than Information, Communications and Culture Minister Rais #yorais Yatim, whose stance on obtaining information from online sources is so legendary, hes earned his own Twitter hashtag (not in a complementary way, mind you).

Ironically, the global PR conglomerate APCO, currently hired by the Malaysian government, was also implicated as being part of the shady CIA network in the very same blog posting. This little embarrassment was, of course, not mentioned. But to those who actually took the trouble to read the Culture of Life News posting, the irony was one that was difficult to dismiss. More than irony, it was a case of selective reporting, and as a result, a less than credible attempt at tarnishing Anwar even further.

So, Walski being Walski, a poll was just screaming to be created what would they accuse Anwar of being next?

It appears that the final tally shows a tie between being an alien (the E.T. kind), and being the real evil behind Barney. There were 3 other suggestions as well:

  • Mahathir in disguise
  • Mahathirs son
  • Rosmah Mansor in drag

Granted, this would have been more fun if lots more people participated, but hey Walskis fault for not blogging more often, and allowing this blog to fade into semi-obscurity. And its difficult when you have to go up against sensationalist idiots like Parpukari, whose postings are not only usually without substance, but without what most intelligent people consider style either.

So there UMNO will one day probably come up with this fantastical story about how Anwar is ac! tually t he leader of an extraterrestrial invasion whos behind everything thats wrong with the world today. Think of it as sort of Klaatu, the Anti-Christ, and Barney all rolled into one neat spin of an evil character.

Walski has learned that one should never underestimate the depths of ridiculousness these pro-UMNO/BN cybertwerps will stoop

Letter & Opinion From Joe Public

PR's Bastard? BN's Bastard? National Bastard?

He's a bastard, but he's our bastard!

Anwar Ibrahim is confirmed a Jewish Gay

Asia Sentinel pun bantai Anwar?

Updates: Syed Akbar Ali on the friends Anwar keeps (Yusuf al-Qardhawi, a village idiot from Egypt who married a girl younger than his youngest grand daughter; Al Gore, conman and genocidal maniac par excellence; and Wolfowitz, arch neo-con who has the blood of hundreds of thousands of Iraqis on his hands) and his RM7 million mansion in Selayang.

Original article
Depan belakang sapu. Dulu dia bantai Najib Razak, kali ni Asia Sentinel menyiarkan berita tentang Ketua Umum Anwar Ibrahim, hubungan intimnya dengan Bush neocons dan putar-belit Foundation for the Future. Anwar sendiri pernah beriya-iya bikin hyperlink pada cerita Asia Sentinel masa portal tu bantai Najib bulan Oktober lepas. Tak tau lah kalau artikel Anwar Ibrahim and the Bush Neocons - A Washington, DC NGO bares some awkward questions for Malaysia's opposition leader akan disiarkan di blog Anwar.

Petikan:
Anwar has previously disavowed any US funding of the organization, established in 2005 as "an essential front on the global war on terror" and part of President George Bush's "freedom agenda" to promote democracy and reform in the Middle East and Africa. Anwar served as chairman and acting president of the organization's board in the period when he was out of politics following his incarceration on corruption and sexual perversion charges.

The Government Accountability Project report lends considerable ammunition to Anwar's opponents in the United Malays National Organization, who have long charged that Anwar was connected to the US Central Intelligence Agency, although neither the CIA nor the US government as a whole has ever exhibited any particular desire to bring down the Malaysian government, and in fact considers Malaysia, as a moderate Muslim democracy, to be one of its staunchest allies in the region.

In particular, UMNO Youth Chief Kairy Jamaluddin called attention to Anwar's statements disavowing US funding of the foundation and demanded that Anwar explain himself. He accused Anwar of misleading the US government in a memorandum of understanding saying the foundation had agreed to get other countries to commit funds to match those the US government was providing.

"For me, it is a serious matter that the opposition leader has tried to mislead the US government to get grants for a foundation that he was chairman of," Khairy told the Malaysian newspaper The Star.

An Anwar associate said the opposition leader would decline to comment, adding that there was little to be gained by saying anything about the matter. Nonetheless, he characterized Anwar's role as blameless.

"There is nothing wrong going on," he said. "This is part of the campaign to get Wolfowitz out of the World Bank and to do so they threw Anwar under the bus."
p.s. Kalau nak baca versi Bujai, pergi kat sini. Puji KJ mamat ni: "So, Member of Parliament for Rembau, Khairy Jamaluddin must have done his research well enough before establishing the story at the Dewan Rakyat."

Pasquale pun ada cerita di sini, tapi tak puji siapa2 kecuali Tun Dr Mahathir.

Selective prosecution, Selective response

from rocky's bru

Updated, 11.11pm , Sat 17/7/2010
YB Wee responds to SC's response:

"Zarinah Anwar ... has to personally answer for the ECM Libra transaction, MyEG Services Berhad, Isyoda Berhad, Lityan Berhad, Ekowood Berhad and Tenco Berhad, among others. If Zarinah Anwar does not personally come clean on these matters she can be assured more questions will be raised in parliament in October. Questions that have been directed at her personally and her connection with her husband, Azizan Abdul Rahman, over many of the corporate deals must take the onus to speak for herself. I still stand by my statement that unless Zarinah Anwar gives satisfactory answers to the issues including the ECM Libra takeover of Avenue Capital I have raised, she is then deemed unfit to hold the post as Chairman of Securities Commission.
Original article:
Securities Commission speaks out on Pantai. Ah, it's good that finally the Securities Commission wants to show us that it has the faculty to respond to queries. Read SC nafi tuduhan Choo Keong on the Utusan Malaysia's front page today. But like its selective prosecution of companies, the SC's response is very selective in nature. It has decided to address only the Pantai issue. There are many holes in the response, too, but I'm sure YB Wee would like to address them so I shall only ask this question in response to the SC's selective response:

Where's your response to the queries on:
1. Azizan, the SC Chairman's husband, and his involvement in all sorts of business that puts his wife's position in question?
2. Isyoda
3. Tenco
[Read YB Wee's speech and questions in Parliament here]

If you can respond to one issue, why aren't you responding to the rest of the questions., which are more crucial if you ask me, put forward by our honorable YB in Parliament? Any attempt to pull wool over our eyes, SC, will be deemed as (borrowing your fine words) "perbuatan yang tidak bertanggungjawab dan amat melampau".

Securities Commission Mek Nah & Garfunkel - The Sound of Silence

"Hello darkness, my old friend; I've come to talk with you again." -- Simon & Garfunkel in The Sound of Silence

"You still wake up sometimes, don't you? You wake up in the dark and hear the screaming of the lambs." -- Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs

Do you long for silence when the Wangsa Maju MP, newspapers and bloggers scream abuse of power, sham and conflict of interest? -- Mat Cendana in Batang Kali (Perhatian - ini bukan filem atau lagu, ye.. `Batang KaliMULLAH Hassan'? Heheh!)

Then there's also `Silence is Golden'... (Makan besar diam-diam...isteri kan orang top. Hmm, `top..duduk di atas?') -- Securities Commission chairman Tan Sri Zarinah Anwar... the main beneficiary and current wielder of Joe Don Baker's Big Stick aka Securities Commission Act 1993. Especially of Section 134, which the SC had used against a few journalists last month in an effort to force them to reveal their source at the commission.
CAPTION: "Go on; make your best hit, Mek Nah... It's probably your last." The Centre for Independent Journalism, Malaysia (CIJ) , through Executive Officer Masjaliza Hamzah, had issued this statement on June 29 about the SC's high-handedness brought about by old-fashioned `mabuk kuasa'.Jangan main-main dengan SC ni! If you come across a SC officer, just do what your grandfather had done in 1942 when `someone with a red like-PAS flag' is encountered - stop and bow... to the Japanese and now SC Shorty (`short' refers to his height only, and hopefully not `anything else').Pendek bukan sebarang pendek ni... Shorty can put you in Kajang Prison where you'll eat nasi kawah for 5 years, and also fine you one million ringgit! Unles! s you're friends with Bill Gates of Microsoft or the Sultan of Brunei, just answer when a SC officer asks you something. This includes (for women) "Are you a virgin...anak dara ke? Atau dah diperlucutkan taraf; expire, bukan hakmilik kekal? HAHAHA!" But despite legitimate allegations against her - including `pilih bulu' (tak payah tanya `apa') relating to possible misconduct by her husband, Datuk Azizan Abdul Rahman - Zarinah keeps silent. WHY?? Dignified silence against `false accusations'?... This stance isn't appropriate in this instance. Look WHO are making these claims -- Wee Choo Keong is a Member of Parliament; someone who was elected by the people! Apparently, neither Wee nor his Wangsa Maju voters - plus supporters nationwide, including Mat Cendana - are important enough, in Mek Na's eyes and mind. "Serfs, pariahs!"And neither is Ahirudin Attan aka Rocky's Bru, who is a veteran journalist, the editor-in-chief of a newspaper plus a widely read and respected blogger. Even those who had raised pertinent questions and presented their claims in a reasonable manner , like A Voice, Big Dog etc were ignored by the Simon & Garfunkel-inspired Zarinah. And then one mamat in the SC - Corporate Affairs Department head Abdul Jalil Hamid - tried to copy Mat Cendana (Ahem!) and be `a knight in shiny armour' for his boss, Mek Na. Unfortunately, it was pathetic!

The Securities Commission "menafikan sekeras-kerasnya"... So their denial of the allegations made by Wangsa Maju MP Wee Choo Keong is of diamonds and lutetium; the hardest substances on Earth. And what does that show and prove? NOTHING. And this is by the head aka ketua aka kepala! Hallo, boss -- outsource and seek the help of others lah. [Hint, hint... Batang Kali]

To Zarinah Anwar and the kaki ampu in the SC, plus to the relevant minister and mandarins -- We are totally fed up with this. Can we see somethin! g positi ve NOW, pretty please!?

Why the Subsidy Cut Will Become a Political Burden for BN?

Taiping MP, Nga Kor Ming, revealed that RM3.9 billion was allocated to the PMD for its “operations” in 2010. But he seemed to be withholding another piece of information already in the public domain. Under a separate category of “development”, the PMD received RM 8.238 billion. Thus, the total budgetary outlay for the PMD in 2010 is RM12.1 billion, as revealed by the Federal Budget Estimates.

Khoo Kay Peng

The government may be trying to justify the subsidy cut for oil, gas and sugar as something essential and crucial to fuel economic growth. However, a lack of well thought out implementation plan is not going to convince many that the subsidy cut is going to help us become a high income economy in the near future.

There are several things which the federal government had overlooked and does not show any sign of willingness to address them:

1) Wastage & a lack of financial accountability. The government cannot rationalize its subsidy cut without first addressing its own financial prudence.

A member of parliament, Liew Chin Tong, argued that the Prime Minister’s Department’s allocation for 2010 is a whopping RM12 billion, not RM4 billion as reported in the media. He said that the parliamentary reply to his colleague Taiping MP, Nga Kor Ming, revealed that RM3.9 billion was allocated to the PMD for its “operations” in 2010. But he seemed to be withholding another piece of information already in the public domain. Under a separate category of “development”, the PMD received RM 8.238 billion. Thus, the total budgetary outlay for the PMD in 2010 is RM12.1 billion, as revealed by the Federal Budget Estimates.

This is a very shocking number. Why would a PM's department be hoarding so much public allocation? How does he intend to use the allocation? What are the KPIs? Is there any financial/allocation guidelines spelled out by the Treasury to ensure that there is no misused and abuse of public funds?

Without observing a strict financial prudence in his government, the PM's decision to cut subsidy will not be met with a good reception. It will lose him votes among the Malay voters too.

2) Another BN MP, Ong Tee Keat, wrote in his Facebook while it is necessary to reduce subsidy there is a greater need for the government to go after those who misappropriated public funds e.g. PKFZ. There are other similar projects which are causing a huge financial headache for the government. The unscrupulous action of approving dodgy projects especially those awarded to cronies or companies linked to politicians is not going to be well received by the public. A lack of action from the government to tackle these issues and to bring the culprits to book is giving it a bad reputation of trying to protect its cronies.

3) The government continues to take the people for granted by announcing an abrupt increase of petrol, gas and sugar prices. The Malaysian public abhor such tactic. The government is accountable to public opinion and it should have given us a timetable for a gradual subsidy reduction.

'Malaysia blessed due to location'

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia is a "very blessed country", thanks to its location on the globe in relation to the solar system, says an eminent astrology scientist from India.

G Suresh said the latitude (20 30’ North) and longitude (1120 30’ East) was most conducive as it received “positive energy” from the other planets which energised the country, and by extension, the people and all other creations within it.

He said Malaysians should harness that energy through peace, close mutual cooperation and unity to move forward, and for the progress and prosperity of the country.

Suresh, from Kerala, India, is a renowned astrology practitioner with international credentials. He has authored a book, 'Be Aware of Yourself - Cosmic Components Configuration'.

He told Bernama in a recent interview: "The government should take advantage of the natural endowment and propel it (nation) to greater heights, with enhanced policies and programmes.

One of the programmes he suggested was a special policy to nurture the country’s pre-school children and the elderly into valuable national assets.

Great future

He said Malaysia’s global position was also best for “space research “ as it was directly opposite the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (Nasa) -- an independent agency of the United States Government responsible for aviation and spaceflight -- and 12 hours behind in time, which made it a most appropriate site to do follow-up research.

He said, as a result, the future demand of Malaysian air space would increase as more countries would want to use it to test their space inventions.

Suresh, who has travelled widely around the world, said Malaysia had great future and its people were very fortunate.

He said, since the cost of living in Malaysia was one of the lowest in the world, the country should capitalise on this to attract more tourists and investors.

“I have noticed that RM10 in Malaysia could be stretched far more than the same amount in Singapore, New York, Tokyo or London,” he said.

Another plus point for Malaysia was that it was multi-racial, multi-lingual, multi-cultural and multi-religious, giving the world tourists an experience of observing different religious festivals, food and traditions in a single country, he said.
